Blast Corps (Levels & Money, Bonus 1 PAL) - Perfect Dark (Gadgets, Holo, Firing Range Bronze) - Star Fox 64 - Super Smash Bros. (Targets, Platforms)

POLDER POWER WINS THE POD
Emile Broekhuizen is on top once again. He had a great day of gaming today with amazing times for both the Holo and Gadgets pages for Perfect Dark. He took David's WR from yesterday and is very close to having a monopoly on the Holo WRs!

DAVID SHOOTS, BUT HE DOESN'T SCORE
David Schiering sends his first Firing Range times for Perfect Dark. But they're not very good. No times in the top five, let alone any new WRs. He also improved several Blast Corps times, but he still isn't taking more WRs!

ISAI DIGS KYLE INTO A DEEPER HOLE
Isai Alvarado didn't think yesterday's Luigi time was his best effort. So he tried again and shaved three-tenths of a second off a time that was already a new WR. I doubt Kyle can take back the WR now. But can Kyle prove me wrong?

DIMITRIJ BLASTS MARK OUT OF ANOTHER #1 SPOT
Dimitrij Jarowoj has returned to Star Fox 64 with three new scores. One is a new WR for Zoness, another is an improved WR and the third breaks a 2nd-place tie.

VINGT ET UN
There won't be an update tomorrow because it's my 21st birthday. A day I've been waiting for all my life. I'm taking the day off. Unfortunately the casinos are still closed due to our hurricane, but there are plenty of bars open! I'll probably be too drunk to update N64HS ;-) But when I come back October 1st, I'll be ready to hand out the POW and POM that everyone's been waiting for. What happens tomorrow will greatly influence my decision!

SURPRISE WR GETS DAVID ANOTHER POD
David Schiering finally achieves another POD against Emile Broekhuizen. I feel he deserves one today, as he has sent his first Gadgets times for Perfect Dark... AND HAS ALREADY TAKEN ONE WR!! A WR that used to belong to Emile! He also made improvements across Blast Corps but no new WRs.

BUT EMILE STILL DID A DECENT JOB...
Emile shouldn't feel too bad about not winning today's POD, because this is a competition, and it's not fair if one player is allowed to completely dominate. And Emile is still ahead three PODs to David's two this week. He got two new WRs in Mario Tennis and improved lots of other scores for that game. But no new Holo times.

DOUBLE ASSAULT ON KYLE SINCLAIR
Kyle Sinclair is being attacked from two different directions today: the west (Isai Alvarado) and the east (Howard Bloomfield). Isai took his only Board the Platforms WR while Howard beat his Break the Targets total. Kyle has no new records today but probably will tomorrow!

IT'S NOT QUITE IRAQ
An young American male drove a tank across a desert and blew away enemies by the hundreds. It seems like a scene from our war with Iraq, but it's really Mark Johnson's latest run through Titania, where he has become the first American to reach 300 points. Proof included.

EMILE GOES ON HOLO-DAY AND HAS A BALL
Emile Broekhuizen is quickly taking over Mario Tennis and Perfect Dark's Holo event, just as David Schiering is taking over Blast Corps, in his last-ditch effort to make the POM. Emile only has one more WR left to take in Holo and has most of the Time and Points WRs in Mario Tennis now.

ANOTHER SLOWER DAY FOR DAVID
David Schiering is slowing down at a crucial moment, which will likely cost him the POM this month (though there's always next month). There are still many more WRs for him to take in Blast Corps, and he only has six times today, while Emile has more than twenty scores and times.

WINFRIED MERDES SINKS ONE OF MARK'S WRS
On any other day, this would win him a POD. Winfried Merdes makes a surprise WR on Aquas in Star Fox 64, which is nine points better than the old WR, and snaps up a pic. Congratulations to him-- he may not have today's POD but Winnie's still a winner!

HOWARD PLAYS CATCH-UP
Howard Bloomfield may be gaining ground on Kyle Sinclair in Break the Targets. He has two times to Kyle's one and has gained a couple of places to be right next to Kyle on the total times chart.

DUTCH DETERMINATION
Emile Broekhuizen has really kicked it into high gear to come out of this month with another POM. He's got it going for him, having set an unprecedented nine-POD win streak, as well as most of the PODs in the beginning of the month and today is his second POD in a row. He has more than 20 WRs today in the various challenges of Perfect Dark and Mario Tennis, some new, some improved. It now looks like he is the favorite for winning the award. But this month isn't quite over yet...

A FEW MORE WRS FOR DAVE
David Schiering picked up the pace a bit from yesterday, making seven Blast Corps new WRs, and improving a few others, but not nearly enough to stop Emile from starting another POD streak. Dave also sends his first time for Star Wars Episode 1 Racer.

HOWARD GAINS A PLACE IN BREAK THE TARGETS, BUT KYLE IS STILL AHEAD...
I failed to notice yesterday that Kyle's improvements in Break the Targets gained him not one but FOUR places. This would have easily gotten him yesterday's POD if Emile and Dave weren't around, so I really have to congratulate him for yesterday's achievement. Kyle doesn't have a time today, but Howard Bloomfield does, and it puts him ahead of another player.

EMILE IS WINNING AGAIN
For Emile Broekhuizen, when there's a will, there's a way. He has been able to achieve his first POD since his nine-POD win streak in the middle of the month. He deserves it after a day of hard work: he's made ten Nai WRs in two different games and on four different pages! He will have to continue to give it all he's got this week if he wants the POW and the POM on Saturday, but...

...IS DAVID SLOWING DOWN?
David Schiering only has three new Nai WRs today in Blast Corps PAL. He additionally improved three of his times that were already WRs and has three that are second place. But Emile should still continue to work hard because Dave could just be taking it easy today!

AMERICAN STAR FOX 64 CHAMPION AGAIN LEAVES HIS "MARK"
Mark Johnson has another new Nai WR today, on Aquas, tied with Dimitrij Jarowoj, and is the first American to reach 140 points on Sector Z.

KYLE JUMPS AHEAD OF HOWARD WITH A SURPRISING 3RD PLACE
Kyle Sinclair surprises us with his new Luigi time for Break the Targets... it's in 3rd place! Howard Bloomfield improved Luigi, and Fox, but it isn't enough to prevent Kyle from taking his spot! Will Howard ever be able to make a top three time?

JULIAN GOES FULL CIRCLE
Nobody has sent any Trick Attack score for 1080 Snowboarding in a very long time, but Julian Revermann might want to give it a try. That's because he tied the WR in Mario Party 6's Snow Whirled event! That game always puts blisters on my fingers.

STAR FOX 64 TOTAL HITS RECORD BROKEN!!!!!
It isn't Emile or Dave, but Mark, Mark Johnson, who wins today's POD. He certainly deserves it because he has achieved an N64HS milestone. He is the first player to get more than 2,500 Total Hits in Star Fox 64, beating Phil Hughes's unconfirmed record by 31 points and beating my Area 6 score by three points. The Total Hits world record is at long last in American hands!!! Will Dimitrij Jarowoj be able to even touch this score?

BUT, THE FEUD BETWEEN EMILE AND DAVE RAGES ON...
Both Emile Broekhuizen and David Schiering are still pouring their heart and soul into gaming, determined to win this month's POM. While Dave is aiming for a POM in his first month of N64HS membership, Emile is trying to win an award that he feels he may be getting cheated out of. After all, he dominated more than half the month. But if he doesn't do something this week in response to Dave's rapid takeover of Blast Corps PAL, the September 2005 POM will give him the slip!

...AS DOES THE ONE BETWEEN KYLE AND HOWARD
While Emile and Dave war over the final POW and the POM of September, Kyle Sinclair and Howard Bloomfield are waging a little battle of their own in Super Smash Bros. Break the Targets. Both players have made nice shaves today, and Howard remains in the lead. Yet, Kyle feels he can easily overtake Howard if he can trim down his Link time!

EMILE QUIET; PAUL BURGUM TAKES MORE PUMMELING FROM DAVE
This final week of September will be critical in deciding who wins this month's POM. For a while it seemed clear that Emile would take it with his two straight POWs at the start of the month, but David Schiering is quickly catching up to him with his constant barrage of Nai WR times in Blast Corps that has earned him last week's POW. Also today is Emile Broekhuizen's first inactive day this month! If Emile isn't happy with not winning awards lately, he'll have to outpace his competition this week for the month's last POW... and the POM! May the best man win!

Mark Johnson has two new Star Fox 64 scores. He has taken the Nai WR on Zoness, and has made a very good Macbeth score which fits cleanly in 2nd place between Dimitrij's WR and Winfried's score. Brazil's Caio Seidel De Crignis has a little improvement in that game. Matheus Campos, also from Brazil, has a correction for Mario Party 4 that puts him in 3rd place. THE LIGHTS ARE BACK ON, AND I'M STILL HERE
I really have to thank God for sparing me, my family, and our house from Hurricane Katrina. The tree right outside my window is leaning threatingly over my bedroom, and two trees in my back yard are snapped in half. The ceiling is leaking in my mother's bedroom and the back yard is full of tree branches that my uncle from Texas will help us clean this weekend. One of my cats died after falling off a fence that was knocked loose by the 140 mph (240 km/h) winds. A cat that we couldn't identify was discovered dead right outside my bedroom window. Another of our cats is missing. Across Mississippi, more than 100 people are no more, and the mayor of New Orleans estimates that up to 10,000 people in his own city have breathed their last. As more corpses are discovered, official death tolls will be updated. Luckily none of my family members are among them. All the traffic lights were torn up but many of those have already been rebuilt. Many-- dare I say most-- of the houses in town didn't fare as well as mine did, suffering severe roof damage from either the winds of from falling trees, and some places have been completely destroyed especially near the beach where a 30-foot-plus (10 meters) storm surge came in. For those of you who don't know what a storm surge is, it's a giant wave stirred up by the winds of a hurricane that can be like a mini-tsunami. The casino where my mother works was torn in half, with the western half lying across the road from where it was. A few other casinos were picked up by the massive waves and set down somewhere else. Several important bridges on the Mississippi coast have been wiped out, forcing people to go completely out of the way to get across the bays. My oldest aunt lost her home near the Louisiana state line and so did two of my mother's coworkers. In fact, almost all homes close to the water have been wiped out.

WELL, WHAT ABOUT SCORES?
As with my last long break from N64HS updates, I will take more than one day to get completely caught up. Today I have scores from August 29-31 updated. Mark Johnson has showed us what he's capable of on Katina (and proves it), while Matt Ford and Paul Slowinski also make progress in Star Fox 64. Dean Barnhart is playing Zelda again and the Revermann Brothers and Tobias Braner have a few surprises in Mario Party Advance.

BRACING FOR THE BIG ONE
Those of you who have been keeping up with the news have probably already guessed that there will most likely be no updates for at least the next few days. Hurricane Katrina, whose maximum wind speeds are at 175 mph as I write this (that's nearly 300 kmph for you metric-users), is headed for the region of the United States where I live and is slated to make landfall between New Orleans and Gulfport, which is of course where I'm at. I won't exactly be "Walking On Sunshine" tomorrow, especially since the workplaces of both of my parents are on the water and will certainly sustain at least some damage from "The Waves". We can be without power for the next week, just like more than a million people already are in Florida, where the storm has already hit, wiping seven people off the face of the earth.

A RELATIVELY QUIET DAY AS FAR AS UPDATES GO...
I didn't get a whole truckload of scores today but there is one noisemaker: Dimitrij Jarowoj's new Zoness score. He is the first player to exceed 450 points on this level. He also pulled up his Sector Y WR while he was at it. In Pok\'e9mon Snap, Andrew Kent has tied a WR and passed two players in the Total Report Score chart and improved some Super Mario 64 times. MARK JOHNSON TAKES DIMITRIJ'S ZONESS WR!! AND THAT'S NOT ALL!
The Star Fox 64 charts have been very active lately. To start things off, Mark Johnson has beaten the Zoness record that Dimitrij Jarowoj just set yesterday! He improved Aquas as well, putting himself just two points behind the Nai WR that Dimitrij holds. And Winfried Merdes has beaten Andrew Chan's score there, which means that in just one week, the entire top three of Aquas has changed!!!! Can you believe it!?!? If you don't, we have proof of all three of today's Star Fox 64 scores!

NAME: TOBIAS BRANER   PROFESSION: RABBIT CATCHER
Tobias Braner should make a living catching rabbits. He's set a truly amazing Grabbit record in Mario Party Advance today. Will ak_drizzt of the GameFAQs community be able to trump Toby again?

HOWARD SURPASSES KYLE... AND ME
Howard Bloomfield has beaten Kyle Sinclair's Break the Targets record today in Super Smash Bros. And in 1-player mode, he beat one of my scores for the very first time.

NEW BRAZILIAN PLAYER MAKES ALL THE DIZZY DINGHIES WRS
Matheus Camposm, one of four players added to the Players List today, makes his debut in Mario Party 3 with his Dizzy Dinghies times, two of them Nai WR Ties and the third a new Nai WR that Dave Phaneuf will have to try to tie or beat.

WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER THREE NEW PLAYERS?
Well first there's Kevin Scheurwater, a friend of Emile Broekhuizen who has a score for the new PAL chart for Magikarp's Splash. The other two players are friends of Dan Makin who were playing Snowboard Kids with him, getting the exact same time that Dan got!

GERMANS PARTY ON THE CUBE
There are new records for Mario Party 4 and 5 from Julian Revermann, Christian Revermann, and Johannes M\'fcller, a newer addition to the German Mario-Partying community. In Mario Party 4, both Julian and Christian have solved the 30-piece Jigsaw Jitters in under a minute, and Julian got an amazing Barrel Baron score. Both brothers have other miscellaneous records in that game. In Mario Party 5, Johannes M\'fcller now has records for all the mini-games and Decathlon events!

RETURNING PLAYER SENDS HIS POK\'c9MON STADIUM RECORDS
An Australian player who turned out to be Kevin Patterson when I looked up his e-mail address has new records for Pok\'e9mon Stadium. I forgot what game he used to play. He doesn't have a Magikarp's Splash record yet.

DIMITRIJ ISN'T DONE YET
The German power player has improved a Nai WR and set a new one. Dimitrij Jarowoj has added four more points to his Zoness WR, and a score of 450 in the future cannot be ruled out at this point. His new WR is Aquas, which beats the old WR by nearly ten points and leaves Andrew Chan with one remaining untied Nai WR and one tied-- the same number of WRs that I have. If you're not surprised by that, Winfried Merdes has a new Aquas score, and it beats mine by a point! He's got proof of this score as well as his newest Zoness score!

JULIAN, JOHANNES, AND MARIO PARTY 4
Julian Revermann and Johannes M\'fcller have new records for Mario Party 4, mostly Johannes. Julian improved some of his WRs while Johannes sends mostly mediocre scores, but one of them, Right Oar Left?, is quite good.

HE'S A REAL METEO-ROLOGIST
For the first time in the history of N64HS, a player has exceeded 511 points on Meteo in Star Fox 64. That player is none other than Mark Johnson, now the best Star Fox 64 player in the United States. (That used to be me...) Of course, he took a picture of this score to prove it.

NICHOLAS (NOT ME, THE OTHER ONE) IS BACK... AND READY TO PARTY WITH THE GERMANS
Nicholas St-Louis sends his first Mario Party records today via Dave Phaneuf. He has records for the first five Mario Party games, some of these pretty good. In Mario Party 6 Christian Revermann improved Full Tilt while Tobias Braner has some good new Mario Party Advance scores including a new GameFAQs WR.

SNOWBOARDING IN AUGUST?
A new player, Dan Makin, makes his debut at N64HS in Snowboard Kids with a 2nd place time for the first course.

PERFECT DARK COMBAT SIMULATION ONE PAGE AGAIN
I've put the NTSC and PAL players back on the same page in Perfect Dark Combat Simulation, as Emile Broekhuizen and Andrew Kent have told me that there is no need to have separate NTSC and PAL pages in Perfect Dark. Yes, I know some of the font colors, places, and such may be wrong but I'm still working on it.

AS PROMISED, A NEW MPA WR FROM ME, AND ONE FROM TOBIAS TOO
I've made half a million points on Floor It! on a regular GBA (no Game Boy Player), playing for six hours which made my neck kind of sore. If Tobias wants this WR back, he's going to want it really, really bad. He made the WR on Boo-Bye, and is closing in on the GameFAQs WR!

CHRIS THE 11-YEAR-OLD PUZZLE MASTER
Christian Revermann, that's Julian Revermann's younger brother, pushes his 40-piece Jigsaw Jitters time even lower in Mario Party 4. He still can't beat his brother's 20-piece time, but he is trying.

AWESOME STAR FOX SCORE FROM WINFRIED

FOUR SECONDS SHAVED FOR HOWARD
Howard Bloomfield has been busy with Break the Targets, improving seven of his times and shaving off four seconds as he continues to climb the charts. What happened to his brother Jeffrey?

JULIAN TAKES THREE WRS IN MARIO PARTY ADVANCE, TWO OF THEM WERE MINE
Julian Revermann has made four nice scores, three of them WRs, one of them not but still a decent second place (and I hold the WR!). None of the times make the WR at Game FAQs, though, but he is the first player at N64HS to stack 100 shells and is competing with Christian and Tobias to be the first to break 20 seconds in Dreadmill. Players List - Proof - Credits

MARK'S PROOF IS IN
Mark Johnson has now confirmed his high scores for Star Fox 64, long before the September 30th deadline that I set for him. Though he doesn't have proofs for other levels Zoness or Venom, they are made more believable because he has proof for his Total Hits. This score is the highest proven Total Hits at N64HS now, although it has been affected by the score glitch. Mark also has a new Titania score.

ANOTHER CHART SPLIT, THANKS GO TO EMILE BROEKHUIZEN
Emile Broekhuizen has pointed out that PAL players can't score as high in Magikarp's Splash as NTSC players, prompting me to divide this chart on the Pok\'e9mon Stadium page. I'll have to add Emile's name to the Credits page for his findings.

LUIZ TAKES 3RD IN BREAK THE TARGETS TOTAL
Andrew Kent, Michelle Kent (who also played some Mario Golf), Adam Rose, and Bruno de Vasconcelos Teixeira all played Super Smash Bros. today, but the noisemaker was Luiz Roberto, Jr., who has seized the #3 spot in the total time chart for Break the Targets. He also fended off Andrew to keep his 3rd place in Board the Platforms. Luiz has new Blast Corps times today, too!

CURTIS TIES A SUPER MARIO 64 WR AND SUBMITS PROOF
Mark Johnson isn't the only player today with proof. Curtis Bright has tied the Footrace With Koopa the Quick WR, making what is believed to be a perfect time (until somebody makes a 15"9) as well as today's only first-place score, and sending a video for it as well as his Rematch With Koopa the Quick time, which isn't perfect but will show you the best strategy.

MORE HARDY PARTYING FROM THE GERMANS
In Mario Party 4, Christian Revermann is close to breaking one minute in 30-piece Jigsaw Jitters! Julian says he will try to do it later on. In Mario Party Advance, Tobias Braner has made another GameFAQs WR, and he and Julian both have a few other nice records!

Perfect Dark Combat Simulation - Star Fox 64

Players List

PERFECT DARK COMBAT SIMULATION HAS BEEN SPLIT; NEW PLAYER ALREADY ADDED TO PAL
Emile Broekhuizen has pointed out that the PAL version of Perfect Dark has slower times than the NTSC version, so I am in the process of splitting all the pages. Today I just did Combat Simulation. Even in that mode, PAL players have an unfair advantage in charts like Time Spent. Emile's neighbor, Koen Visser, is the first new player to be added to the new split pages; he has 4 PAL WRs in Class B.

DIMITRIJ IMPROVES TWO NAI WRS AND IS WORKING TOWARDS ANOTHER
Dimitrij Jarowoj continues to get his WRs higher and higher. He has reached an amazing 440 points on Zoness and is one point shy of 360 on Macbeth. He's also taken my precious 2nd place spot in Aquas, where he stands just five points short of yet another WR, which is one of only two WRs still held by Canadian player Andrew Chan. The other is Sector Z.

GERMANS TAKE PARTYING TO A NEW HEIGHT
Julian Revermann, Christian Revermann, and Tobias Braner, as well as a new player, Sebastian Hartmann, have plenty of new records for the four most recent Mario Party titles, and there's no shortage of new WRs. Christian gets his first GameFAQs WR in Mario Party Advance while Tobias takes back the Floor It! WR and makes a couple of new ones as well! He even tied the Snow Whirled WR in Mario Party 6!

GETTING CAUGHT UP
I've got all of the past week's new scores up now. Super Smash Bros. has been without a doubt the busiest game of the week, with Howard Bloomfield and Bruno de Vasconcelos Teixeira each earning a POD, and Howard additionally getting last week's POW for making considerable progress in the game. Wouter Jansen improved his times for the first two tracks of Star Wars Episode I Racer, but rather shockingly, didn't get the WRs or even gain a position, while on that same day, Wade Kluke improved his only Super Smash Bros. score, gaining a position. Thus, Wade deserves the August 10 POD more than does Wouter.

WEBMASTER'S HOMECOMING
I received so many records while at my uncle's ranch in Seagoville, Texas that I'm not going to update everything in one day. I did the scores from Monday and Tuesday (which were the most active days of the week) today, and that was enough. Most of the scores were for Mario Party Advance page, where the Germans are all but taking over. Christian Revermann exceeded 100,000 points on Boo-Bye, Tobias Braner beat my Koopa Krunch score and Julian Revermann beat my long-standing Broom Zoom score! And that's just scratching the surface!!

In Super Smash Bros., new player Wade Kluke sends one score while Adam Rose fights to stay in the top 20 in Break the Targets total time. Pier-Yves Lemire sent his first Pok\'e9mon Stadium scores and he aspires to make the Nai WR Tie in Magikarp's Splash. LAST UPDATE BEFORE I GO TO TEXAS
I will be spending the following week in Dallas so there will be no updates until at least Saturday. He has proof of it, as always. In Perfect Dark, Emile Broekhuizen has gained a rank. I may be dividing the pages into NTSC and PAL in the future if there is a significant difference between the two versions that affects times.

ONE MORE SMBDX SCORE FROM ME...
I didn't think I had wringed out all the points from 3-1 when I first beat Andrew Kent's score, so I went back and did the level again, adding another 30,000 points and pretty much maxing out the level. If he manages to beat this one I just might faint...

PIER-YVES GETS FURTHER A-HEAD
Pier-Yves Lemire keeps setting those impressive records in Jet Force Gemini. He improved all his Ant Head scores, getting over 600 for Junno, and has tied the Gem Quarry WR and got the WR on Mizar's Palace too!

THE BATTLE FOR THE 20TH SPOT
Howard Bloomfield and Adam Rose are jockeying for a spot in the Break the Targets total time charts. Howard holds on to it today, in fact getting 19th place and passing Jonathan Li, while Adam comes up just short of re-entering the top 20.

SOME "SUPER" SCORES FROM ANDREW KENT IN SMBDX
Andrew Kent has achieved his greatest scores yet in Super Mario Bros. DX! In World 1-1 he is within 15,000 points on my WR. On 4-2 he has over 700,000 points and on 3-1 he became the first player to make over 800,000 on that level! That's right, 800,000! Of course, I had to quickly become the second before leaving for Dallas (which will be Monday morning) so I became the first player to make 850,000 for 3-1. I'm sure at least 880,000 can be done. A second score of 900,000 does not quite look possible.

NEW PLAYER SENDS A STAR FOX SCORE

Andrew Kent has finally updated a Rankings page for us, for Star Fox 64. I'm actually very surprised to find myself ahead of Steven Zwartjes (whose birthday is tomorrow) and Andrew Chan, who were once the top two players! Dimitrij Jarowoj now has nearly double the points of the second place player, and as I correctly guessed, Mark Johnson debuts ahead of me. Phil is in second place despite only having scores for seven levels a and Total Hits! He says he'll eventually make it first place!

WOUTER RACES SOME MORE
Wouter Jansen takes a few Episode 1 Racer Nai WRs from Myles Bukrim, the guy who recently celebrated his 21st birthday.

PIER-YVES TAKES EVEN MORE WRS
Maybe Andrew Kent should update the Jet Force Gemini rankings next because this guy is going to town on this game. We're talking about Pier-Yves Lemire, of course, and he now has all the Ant Head WRs (one tied) and some new mission time WRs as well. All told, he has 6 new JFG records today that are first place!

BRUNO GETS DK UNDER 10 SECONDS

For a while, I was the best Star Fox 64 player in the United States, but those days are finally over with the entry of Mark Johnson, whose Total Hits score takes third place, and who happened to make exactly 511 on Meteo (by coincidence, he did it twice). He has the non-Player's Choice version, because his Area 6 score is well over 511. Mark also has 100 points on Fortuna, and over 420 on Zoness for 2nd place! He currently doesn't have proof but promises to send us some in the future. He says he currently doesn't have a scanner so he can't upload the proofs. I suggest he get a digital camera! Originally I didn't accept him but after he cleared up some mistakes in his original submission I went ahead and gave him the green light. But, I'm giving him until the end of September (which happens to be my 21st birthday) to prove his scores or they're going back down!

CHILD'S PLAY
The competition at N64HS is getting younger! Nathan Stinson's nephew, Tyler Manifold, who is only eight years old (rhyme unintended), sends in two pretty good Mario Tennis Piranha Challenge scores. Will we hear more from him in the future?

A NEW RULE REGARDING THESE "CHILD PLAYERS"
Those of you under 13, due to a US law called the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, will not be allowed to use your own e-mail addresses to send your scores-- you'll have to use an older sibling or parent's e-mail address. And it's best if they do the submission for you. The law states that web site owners are not allowed to collect information from children under 13, including e-mail addresses. You also shouldn't reveal your IM contact if you are under 13. Those of you who have been at the GameFAQs message boards know this rule all too well. I certainly don't want to close N64HS completely to kids but there must be restrictions on how much information you can reveal to me. With more and more young players joining N64HS, I need to make this rule so I don't get fined or imprisoned...

MORE SHAVES FROM ADAM & PIER-YVES
Adam Rose, who is well over 13 (I think he's 17), has one new time for both Break the Targets and Board the Platforms. He also has a new Super Mario 64 time. Pier-Yves Lemire, who is about the same age, improves several Jet Force Gemini times.

SURPRISE WR IN MARIO PARTY ADVANCE
I bet nobody at N64HS or at GameFAQs was expecting me to go from 5,000 points to nearly 200,000 in one night in the mini-game Floor It!. And I stopped playing because it was late and I was tired-- I could have kept playing. Indeed, when I play this game again, I will go for a million points, and I'll let you know whether the score stops at 999,999 or keeps increasing. It might be a while before I attempt this, though.

Jet Force Gemini - Super Smash Bros. (Targets)

Mario Party Advance

CANADA & BRAZIL: ARCHRIVALS CONTINUE TO FEUD
For quite a while, the gaming force of Canada has been major rivals with the gaming force of Brazil, much like Coke and Pepsi. Today, Pier-Yves Lemire and Bruno de Vasconcelos Texeira represent their countries in the battle. Bruno de Vasconcelos Teixeira got his Luigi time in Break the Targets even lower for the POD, while Pier-Yves Lemire, whose Jet Force Gemini times for today aren't particularly impressive, wins the POW for overall hard work through the week.

JULIAN REVERMANN PUTS HIS ENGLISH TO THE ULTIMATE TEST
Julian Revermann, who has been struggling with proper English during his time at N64HS, gets the ultimate chance to hone his skills as he takes a two-week vacation in England. I hope that (1) at least some of the people there known German and (2) Julian brings his GBA with him so he can keep making records in Mario Party Advance. He has a new score for Pest Aside (more on that in the next paragraph) and his brother takes second place in See Monkey?

JUST CALL ME MR. GREEN THUMB
I turned out to be the best gardener of them all when I broke the GameFAQs record in Pest Aside, previously held by MarioBrons. I'm only about 4,000 points ahead of him, though, so he will probably end up taking the WR back soon. I also made first place in Shell Stack (I know how to play this game now!) and maybe I'll see if I can break the GameFAQs record of 125 later on. Even if you know what color the shell is as soon as it is fired, it's really easy to mistime your jump when trying to land on the fast-moving red shells.

PIER-YVES MULTITASKS FOR THE POD
Pier-Yves Lemire proves he's multitalented by getting two Nai WR Ties in one game and a second place time in another. The games in question are Donkey Kong 64 and Jet Force Gemini, respectively.

CURTIS 3RD OVERALL IN SUPER MARIO 64
Also from Canada, Curtis Bright replaces Australia's Andrew Kent as the 3rd fastest Super Mario 64 player. He has a new Rematch With Koopa the Quick time that beats Andrew's, and he sent me updated totals for Alex Penev (another Aussie), himself, and Myles Bukrim. Curtis has passed Andrew in overall time as well!

SOME LITTLE IMPROVEMENTS FROM KEN
Kenneth Cheung has three new Star Fox 64 scores, two of them improvements of seven points, and the third, an improvement of seventeen points. All of them gain him some positions.

TWO INCREDIBLE NEW MARIO PARTY ADVANCE RECORDS
First off, I now have the Bob-OOOM! WR, both at GameFAQs and here. But nobody, not even I, was expecting that I would score more than one million points! As it turns out, the max score isn't the same in every mini-game-- it's 999,999 in Bill Bounce, but it's even higher in Bob-OOOM!! Your score goes back to 00000 when you hit a million, and I'm not sure what happens if you score another 100,000 points. See proof of the new score!!

The second amazing score comes not from me but from Tobias Braner, who has been setting some pretty impressive scores lately. He shatters the N64HS record for Floor It!, breaking even the GameFAQs world record! He has more than 100,000 points!!

BRUNO'S BACK!
We haven't heard from any Brazilian gamer in a while, but now, Bruno de Vasconcelos Teixeira is back with four new Break the Targets times! He is the second person to break the 10 second mark for Captain Falcon and Pikachu, and he shaved nearly a second off his time, getting below 2'25"!

PIER-YVES RACES AHEAD OF NICHOLAS ST-LOUIS
He seems to be done with the platform boarding for now. Pier-Yves Lemire is devoting more time towards F-1 World Grand Prix, improving his old times, and today, getting back ahead of Nicholas St-Louis in the total time chart.

STEVEN GOES TO THE MOVIES
But not the same movies your local Cinemark plays. You see, these are Dimitrij Jarowoj's Star Fox 64 high score movies. After watching one, Steven Hoying was able to improve his Sector Y score by nearly FIFTY points! He took a top five spot and is close to 300 on this level now! He says he wants to see an Aquas movie so he can get his score over 200 there.

DOES YOUR ELEVATOR GO ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP FLOOR?
I have two improvements in Mario Party Advance, both in elevator-related games. I improved Floor It! by 500 points (still a lousy score), as well as Switch Way, which is a new WR. Now I have to go get another WR, at Bob-OOOM!, where Tobias currently has it. Since I have new batteries now, I may be able to break the GameFAQs record which is close to 300,000 points! I just have to avoid messing up too much!

SIXTH GRADE, BUT FIRST PLACE
Christian Revermann, who should be starting the 6th grade later this year (or the 2nd year of secondary school), has a new WR, at Dreadmill. He still doesn't have the GameFAQs WR, though, because that one's under 20 seconds.

LETTING YOU KNOW AHEAD OF TIME...
Sometimes within the next few weeks there won't be any updates for a while, because I'll be going on another vacation with family. This time I'm going to Dallas to visit my grandmother and aunt, and to help my uncle, who currently lives there, move into town.

Pier-Yves Lemire has revealed his new 1-Player Total after making a great new Jigglypuff score. He has passed five people, including Jim Hays! And he didn't just play Super Smash Bros.-- he went back to F-1 World Grand Prix and improved two times, and sent his first Jet Force Gemini time!

NICE PROGRESS FROM STEVEN HOYING
The Ohio college student made a very big improvement in Zoness, placing himself neatly in the middle of the giant gap between players with 400 or more points and players with 340 or fewer points. Can Steve make 400? Steven also entered the top 20 in Aquas and improved Titania nicely!

A LITTLE GUY WITH BIG DETERMINATION
Christian Revermann may only be 11 years old, but he plays like the big boys. He is near the WR in Dreadmill and has passed me in Spooky Spike. Julian Revermann, his older brother, has taken the Dreadmill WR.

But Kenneth has another score today that's even better, and that's Titania, where he beat Andrew Chan... by one point!

I improved Flingshot after realizing that was supposed to alternate between A and B (I had been pressing them at the same time) and got over 20,000; Tobias Braner nearly matches Julian Revermann's Spooky Spike score, and improved his Dreadmill WR; Christian Revermann improved Sort Stack.

TWO INCREDIBLE WRS FROM DIMITRIJ!!!
Dimitrij Jarowoj has set two amazing new WRs, and he says they're not even the best he can do! He has more than 330 points for Titania (and says that 350 is possible on a perfect run) and over 430 on Zoness (where he says 450 can be done). Dimitrij has yet to provide proof, but we know he'll have it soon. Phil Hughes, eat your heart out!

STEVEN INCREASES HIS TOTAL
Dimitrij wasn't the only one busy today with Star Fox 64. Steven Hoying, now with an older copy of the game, can get more than 511 points on Area 6 (as we've already seen) and thus improve his Total Hits. He now has over 2,300 points!

PIER-YVES BUSY SMASHING
Pier-Yves Lemire has made progress on all three pages of the Super Smash Bros. charts. He has two new 1-player scores, a new Break the Targets time that gains him a position in Total, and four new Board the Platforms times, one of which is a three-second shave!

THE GERMANS' HAND-HELD PARTY
Julian, Chris, and Toby continue work on improving their Mario Party Advance records. Toby took my Chomp Romp WR, caught 18 rabbits in Grabbit for a new WR, shaved seconds off his Dreadmill run, and improved his WR at Spooky Spike, returning nearly 100 volleyballs! That, as you know, gets tricky as Boo, the server, moves to different places. Julian caught a slightly larger Cheep Cheep. Julian and Toby both improved Bill Bounce, but Julian has yet to make 100,000, let alone a million, but Toby has made 200,000! He's more than a fifth of the way to tying my WR.

DIMITRIJ TIES ONE OF WINNIE'S WRS AND TAKES ANOTHER!
Dimitrij Jarowoj cranked out a trio of amazing Star Fox 64 scores today, and they are all Nai WRs. One is a nice improvement of a WR he already had. The second is a Nai WR Tie, and the third is a new WR!

BILL BOUNCE WR BACK IN AMERICAN HANDS; JULIAN FLINGSHOTS 30K
I couldn't let Tobias Braner keep the Bill Bounce WR. I more than doubled my old record to get a score so high, that even when Tobias improved his score a second time, I still had the higher score. But, at Game FAQs, someone has already beaten my new record, and I assume he is American as well, so either way the Bill Bounce WR is back in Amerian hands. His name is Yunio Hyodo (last name two syllables, Hyo-do, not Hy-o-do) and his first score is a Nai WR for Wave Race 64, Stunt Mode. My fascination with Japanese language and culture makes this event all the more exciting. Arigat\'f4!

KEN MAKES ANOTHER TOP THREE IN STAR FOX
